The Olympus Mons Federation is a major nation on the planet Mars. Home to over thirty million people, it is one of the largest producers of rare-earth minerals in the solar system.
Prior to gaining independence during the Years of Liberty, Olympus Mons was a colonial subject of India, founded as India's first outer-space colony during the mid-22nd century. Following the war, the colonists of Olympus Mons negotiated a treaty with the Solar Commerce Organization, guaranteeing a spot in the organization and their independence.
